Billy Crudup
William Gaither "Billy" Crudup (born July 8, 1968) is an American actor. He is known for his roles in Almost Famous, Big Fish, Princess Mononoke, Watchmen, The Stanford Prison Experiment, Public Enemies and appeared as Dr. Allen in Justice League and in the movie’s director cut.
Crudup won two Emmy Awards in 2020 and 2024 for his role as Cory Ellison in the Apple TV+ series The Morning Show. He was nominated for four Tony Awards, winning one for his role in The Coast of Utopia in 2007.
Crudup was born on July 8, 1968 in Manhasset, New York.[1] He studied at Saint Thomas Aquinas High School, at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and at New York University. He has one son with his ex-girlfriend Mary-Louise Parker. On June 9, 2023, Crudup married actress Naomi Watts.[2]
