Shawinigan is an aw a territory equivalent tae a regional coonty municipality (TE) an census diveesion (CD) o Quebec, coextensive wi the ceety o Shawinigan. Its geographical code is 36. Shawinigan is the seat o the judicial destrict o Saint-Maurice.[6]
