Lucia di Lammermoor is a dramma tragico (tragic opera) in three acts bi Gaetano Donizetti. Salvadore Cammarano wrote the Italian leid libretto loosely based upon Sir Walter Scott's historical novelle The Bride of Lammermoor.[1]
