Hey there, cowboy. This article looks a little bit small. I reckon you could impress me by contributing to it. Don't be shy now. |
Calumet Ravine is a natural formation in Red Dead Redemption 2 and Red Dead Online in the Grizzlies East region of the Ambarino territory.
It lies to the east of the Wapiti Indian Reservation and flows over Donner Falls into the Dakota River, which it is the source of.
Notes[]
- Calumet Ravine may be influenced by the edge of the Black Hills mountain range in western South Dakota; the reddish rock within and around Calumet Ravine matches that of the Spearfish Formation, a formation that occurs near both the famous Devil's Tower and within the Black Hills.
- Similar to how the Wapiti were forced to move to Calumet Ravine, the real life Lakota tribe were forced to move to land which included the Black Hills mountain range; however, while the Wapiti were almost forced to move again but were instead allowed to stay, the Lakota were forced to leave the Black Hills for good upon the discovery of gold.
- Players can find the Ancient Tomahawk protruding from a target at the northeast side of the ravine.
- The Grizzlies Calumet Ravine Bone is found at the southeastern end atop a hill in an outcropping, east of Donner Falls.
- Far due east of the bone can be found a shack with a Witches Cauldron. Inside the cauldron is Hair Tonic and Kentucky Bourbon.
