Zachariah "Zach" Sandford is the main antagonist of the 2021 horror-thriller film There's Someone Inside Your House.
He is a young man who studies at Osborne High, a school that is in a small town called Osborne in Nebraska, but secretly he is a serial killer, who plans on to reveal everyone's secrets at the same time he kills them.
He was portrayed by Dale Whibley. In-costume scenes as The Osborne Slayer were portrayed by Cameron Hilts.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
In General[]
- Although Zach has a somewhat tragic backstory in which because his father is a horrible person, his classmates and the entire town took it out on him to vent, in reality this was never played with sympathy and although he felt pressured and Unsure of having his father's approval, he ultimately became worse than him by killing him.
- Although he has some comical moments, these are before his true nature was revealed and are only fun for the audience.
- Although his first 2 victims possibly deserved it for being hypocritical, the way he killed them is simply terrible and although he wanted to reveal everyone's truth, that does not make him an extremist because he did it only for revenge and essentially he was a hypocrite for possessing the worst secret of all.
In The Film[]
- He killed Jackson by cutting his ankles only to then stick his knife into his chest and reveal his secret, that he had beaten Caleb for being gay.
- When he attacks Katie, he cuts her in the stomach and when she tries to call the police, Zach sadistically sticks his knife in front of her so that he then pushes her, causing the knife to pass through her mouth, killing her, only to then hang her corpse.
- When he goes to the police station he steals a taser.
- He throws a party to reveal to everyone that Rodrigo enjoyed using fentanyl and when Rodrigo chases him and catches him, he kills him by cutting his throat.
- To make this worse, not only did he kill his friend, which shows that he never cared about him, but unlike Jackson and Katie, Rodrigo was not a hypocrite and he never hurt anyone.
- He tries to kill Makani by burning her alive the same way she burned her friend, but she didn't deserve it because she was sorry for it, he couldn't kill her just because he was distracted and Makani managed to defend himself.
- It caused Ollie Larson to be arrested and blamed for being the murderer which caused a brief conflict between Makani and Alex.
- He stabs Caleb for no reason.
- He was willing to burn down the corn maze to kill all the people in it, where there were surely families with children.
- While in the labyrinth, he killed a security guard and his companion.
- He kills his father by piercing his head with his saber.
- When Ollie tries to stop him by paralyzing him, Zach stabs him with the saber.
- He planned to frame Makani for the murders he committed.
