The unnamed cult leader is a minor antagonist in the Lookism Korean webcomic. He was a priest who mentored Johan Seong that was secretly the leader of a brainwashed cult known as the Church of Eden, which worshipped dogs. He is indirectly responsible for Johan’s descent into villainy due to manipulating his blind mother.

What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]

• Made shady deals with The Workers somehow by purchasing their drugs, which allowed them to get funded and commit numerous crimes.
• Used his cover as a kind priest who mentors his people to gain their trust then to lure in hundreds into The Church of Eden retreat (which is actually his cult recruitment grounds) then drugged them, forcing them to worship him, causing them to go somewhat insane and going missing from human society. One of their desires was to end the world was they reached 666 followers.
  • This included the lower-class disabled blind mother of Johan Seong, who he gave false hope too by claiming he could cure her blindness. She ended up going insane, causing her to become vicious and delusional, which strained her relationship with Johan. This even led her to attack her own son. He was fully aware of their situation since the mother went to him yet still chose to trick her anyway.
  • This also included about 10 innocent children who were completely shaved, started eating bugs and trying to force others to do the same (a behavior he likely enforced.) These children are seemingly forced to live in a small dirty container.
• Tied a reporter who was trying to expose his crimes to a crucifix with the intention of leaving him there to starve. It his heavily implied he was tortured during this time, since there are bloody stones on the ground beneath him.
• Had a perverted attraction to Mira, a middle schooler as he was shown stalking her from his car.
• Once his cover was revealed, he imprisoned Mira, Zach and Johan with the threat of having his attack dog kill them.
• Intended to cut off the arms and legs of Zach and Mira out of spite for coming on the trip since he wanted Johan and his mom to come alone.
• Kept Johan, Zach and Mira locked in dog cages and had his followers cheer for their execution.
• Tried to have Johan’s mother killed when she tried to save the kids. He ended up locking her up and then publicly crucifying her the next day, having his cultists try to stone her to death while the kids watched. One of the stones hits her in the head, causing severe damage. The next throws are blocked by Johan, however, who gets his fist severely bloody while trying to do so.
• During this, he took Mira away and tried to rape her while she’s tied up.
• Tries to send his attack dogs to kill Johan and Zach when they try to stop him and sadistically joked that they would become their food. While he claims they follow him due to worshipping him, he actually uses meat to control them.
• Kicked Mira and called her a bitch for biting him then called Johan’s mother a blind bitch for trying to stop him.
• All of his cult minions were hospitalized for addiction treatment after his cult was disbanded.
• After being rendered homeless, he fakes having a disability in order to perform multiple money scams including to earn food from the church and steal from other people.
• While he did get beaten and mugged by a group of Hostel thugs, this isn’t played with any sympathy.
• While he does own dogs, there's no evidence that he truly cares for them beyond viewing they as mere attack dogs at his disposal.
• Though it can be argued that he is insane, there is no proof of this and furthermore he manipulated hundred of people into his cult, knowingly used tricks to control them in a calculative manner, which he sadistically smiles while doing so. Even the police suggest that he benefited from this purely out of money.
• His actions have an overarching effect on Johan, since he lost his innocence and became a power-hungry greedy street thug who cut himself off from any friendships or attachments, including his own mother. He is also indirectly responsible for basically any crime committed by Johan due to this.
• Though he seemingly doesn't do much compared to villains like Robert Choi, Eugene, Olly Wang and Gun, he stands out for his low resources (being only a con artist with no fighting skills), unique crimes (including leading a cult and attempted child rape) and limited screen time (only appearing in 8 or so chapters.)
