NOTE: This page is only about his 1989 film version as the original book and 2016 film versions of the Fleshlumpeater were not voted Pure Evil, and thus only the 1989 film version of the Fleshlumpeater's info and crimes should be put here. |

~ Fleshlumpeater to the BFG. |
The Fleshlumpeater is the main antagonist of the 1989 British animated film The BFG.
He is the sadistic and tyrannical leader of the evil giants of Giant Country who serves as the biggest and strongest as well as the BFG's arch-enemy.
He was voiced by the late Don Henderson.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- Continuously heads to the human world to devour children when night falls.
- Unlike the other giants, Fleshlumpeater went as far as to plan on eating an entire orphanage.
- Devours a child onscreen itself. While we don't see him eating the child, we see him grabbing the child and about to put him in his mouth and the BFG and Sophie's reaction signify he indeed has devoured him.
- While most of the Giants are also child murderers, unlike his stupid brothers, Fleshlumpeater was intelligent enough to know how wrong such crimes were that makes him surpass the systematic standards.
- While following Giant Law and refrains from killing the BFG, he uses this an excuse to violently abuse him instead and even tried to murder him in the climax, shedding such redeeming quality.
Trivia[]
- In the scene where the giants are being tied up, Fleshlumpeater is the only one who wakes up and the BFG and Sophie trick him into allowing his own capture by claiming that he has been poisoned by a venomous snake so that he will put his hands and feet together to be tied up. The scene with the BFG having to subdue him with a bad dream doesn't happen.
- Only the 1989 film version of the Fleshlumpeater qualifies for Pure Evil status, as his original book version and the 2016 film version aren't heinous enough to qualify:
- This version of the Fleshlumpeater is, alongside the Grand High Witch and Agatha Trunchbull, one of the three Roald Dahl villains to be Pure Evil.
- He is currently the only Cosgrove Hall villain to be Pure Evil.
