Dr. Terence Wynn is the overarching antagonist of the 4-6 timeline of the Halloween franchise. He was the administrator of the Smith's Grove Sanitarium that Michael Myers grew up in and the former colleague of Dr. Samuel Loomis.
As Man in Black, he was portrayed by Don Shanks who earlier portrayed Michael Myers. And as Terence Wynn, he was portrayed by the late Mitchell Ryan.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- In contrast to his producers cut counterpart, he doesn’t actually care about bringing balance and is simply a power hungry monster who wants to exploit the thorn curse’s power for the sake of own ego
- He is revealed to be the leader of the Cult of Thorn and is responsible for turning Michael Myers into the serial killer he is today.
- During Michael’s killing spree in 1989, he arrived to Haddonfield and watched over Michael everywhere as he was killing people.
- When Michael got captured and was sent to a prison, he came to free him by causing an explosion and then proceeded to gun down Sheriff Ben Meeker alongside Deputy Tony and 6 other officers.
- After freeing Michael from prison, he then kidnapped him alongside his niece Jamie Lloyd and brought them to Smith’s grove sanitarium where he then hid them for 6 years
- He used Michael's DNA to impregnate female patients and forced Michael to impregnate Jamie.
- After Jamie successfully birthed her child, Steven, he tried to make him become a killer like Michael, and later tried to do the same with Danny Strode.
- He doesn’t truly care for Michael Myers only using him as a murder vessel.
- Forced one of the nurses to take Steven away from Jamie and give to him instead while completely ignoring Jamie who was pleading for him to let her see her him.
- Drugged Tommy Doyle and Dr. Loomis while also kidnapping Kara, Danny, and Steven and bringing them to Smith’s grove.
- His death (alongside the other Thorn members) at the hands of Michael at the end of the sixth film doesn’t make him sympathetic as he completely deserved it for causing all the deaths throughout the films by cursing Michael with Thorn and for kidnapping Jamie for six years and impregnating her and other woman with Michael’s DNA.
