King Iscardunk Pokeportes[2] was the first king of Lost Island. He had three sons: Bokehontas, Bokebonboko, and Bokebokepon.[1]

History[]

At some point in the past, King Pokeportes had three sons, Bokehontas, Bokebonboko, and Bokebokepon. He told his sons to go find "the tree that grows stars", which he advised was found in the "Dragon Valley" (竜の谷, Ryū no Tani?, Funimation: "Dragon's Valley" / Odex: "Valley of the Dragon"). His sons began the search, with one leaving to the sea, one to the mountain, and one to the forest.[1]

Family[]

King Pokeportes had three sons. It is unknown which succeeded him as king.

  • Bokehontas (ボケホンタス, Bokehontasu?, Funimation: "BokeHontas" / Odex: "Bokehon"), the eldest.
  • Bokebonboko (ボケボンボコ, Bokebonboko?, Funimation: "BokeBokepon" / Odex: "Bokepon"), the second son.
  • Bokebokepon (ボケボケポン, Bokebokepon?, Funimation: "BokeBonboko" / Odex: "Bokebon"), the youngest.

Translation and Dub Issues[]

In the Odex dub, it is specified that Bokehontas searched the sea, Bokebonboko searched the mountain, and Bokebokepon searched the forest. In the original version, it's left unclear which son searched each area.

Anime and Novel Differences[]

In the novel adaptation of the Warship Island Arc, King Pokeportes' name is changed to Iscardung Pokehotes (イスカルダング・ポケホーテス, Isukarundagu Pokehōtesu?). His three sons' names are changed to Pokehontas (ポケホンタス, Pokehontasu?), Pokeponpoko (ポケポンポコ?), and Pokeponpon (ポケポンポン?).
