Roger Rabbit is the titular deuteragonist of the 1988 live-action/animated hybrid comedy film Who Framed Roger Rabbit and the main protagonist of the shorts and spin-off comics.
He was voiced by Charles Fleischer.
His Good Ranking[]
What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Good?[]
Who Framed Roger Rabbit[]
- In his shorts, he often tries to keep Baby Herman out of danger while taking most of the abuse.
- He and Eddie freed Benny the Cab who was captured by the Toon Patrol.
- He felt remorse for Eddie's tragic backstory when his brother, Teddy got killed by a toon when he started crying, mourning his death.
- And while he made an insensitive comment of Teddy being "a sensitive and sober fellow" when he saw a photo of him and Eddie, he truly didn't know he died and he felt remorse for his death eventually when he started crying as stated above.
- He recovered Benny when he crashed into a pole.
- He armed himself with Eddie's gun that was in his car and went to the Acme Factory. Once he got there, he protected his wife and Eddie from the weasels by ordering them to drop their guns and and stood up to Judge Doom.
- He made Eddie fully overcome his hatred of toons by tricking him with the hand-buzzer.
Video Games[]
- In the PC game, he defeated the Toon Patrol by making them laugh to death.
- He also defeated killed Judge Doom, destroyed the Dip machine and saved Jessica from being captured.
- In the Game Boy version, he stopped Judge Doom and the Toon Patrol again and saved Toontown.
Comic Books[]
- In the comics, he helps Rick Flint solve cases and stop many criminals.
- He and Rick resolved the crime of vandalism at the Ink and Paint club.
- He often saves Jessica when she was in danger.
- He helped Rick Flint stop Doodles the Cat by splashing him with Black Paint and got Miss Glory her money back.
- He freed the vases from being locked up by Monica Crock.
- He and Rick saved the cars from the limo named Stretch and the Car Dealer.
- He defeats his imposter who tried to frame him for its crimes.
- He defeats Ava Chintz who tried to cook him by using his running trick.
- He stops the Dynamo V-48 Log Jammer from causing destruction in the forest.
The Resurrection of Doom[]
- He and Jessica try to investigate Eddie's disappearance.
- He freed Eddie who was locked in Vault 10 by the Toon Patrol.
- He washed Judge Doom down the drain with a hose after he was dipped by Eddie, defeating him once and for all.
What Prevents Him From Being Pure Good?[]
- He sometimes causes problems due to his incompetence, such as blowing his cover when he was supposed to be hiding when he was framed for Marvin Acme's murder and sometimes being very clumsy. However, this isn't too major of a prevention since he doesn't mean any harm from it.
- He can be mischievous at times, such as handcuffing himself to Eddie and revealing he can take the cuffs off only when it's funny, taking his car on a joyride and accidentally breaking the roof in the process, and tricking him with the hand-buzzer in the end of the movie, but the second one was because he thought he was being kidnapped and had to get away and the third was only for a good reason since he made Eddie overcome his prejudice against toons.
Trivia[]
- He was at first approved Pure Good due to his kind nature, but the admirable standards changed overtime and he was rejected and eventually moved to the Heroic Benchmark Wiki due to being too standard, but it was found out that Roger has done admirable deeds, which include helping stop Judge Doom and solving many cases in the comics and he was approved Near Pure Good.
- He and Eddie Valiant are the only two heroes of Who Framed Roger Rabbit to be Near Pure Good.
