Crater
From F-Zero Wiki, the F-Zero encyclopedia
Jump to navigationJump to search
Craters are hazards that can litter tracks similar to Rough's spread and Down-Pull Magnets' damaging ability, although they don't slow the player down or cut a Jump Plate's trajectory short. They can also be encountered as a left-over from a Mine explosion. They appear in F-Zero: Maximum Velocity, F-Zero: GP Legend, and F-Zero Climax. They can damage a machine more quickly than Anti-Gravity Guide Beams.
In F-Zero GX, they are called Lava[citation needed], but behave in the same way as craters. They only appear in Story Mode.
