Wiki Afcon Hackathon 2021 is an event that seeks to bring together Wikimedians in the light of contributing to the football activities centered around the 2021 African Cup of Nations from start to finish.

The event would engage community members to contribute to articles of competing countries, players, coaches, association football throughout the tournament. We will climax the hackathon during the final game of the tournament. An in-person meetup will be organized to host participants of the project. This session will give the opportunity to participants to edit or make their contributions towards the tournament live while watching the final game of the tournament.
