This will be the voting page for people who would be running for the ESEAP Preparatory Council. There are in total 9 (nine) seats; 4 (four) affiliate seats, 3 (three) community seats, and 2 (two) individual seats. Nominations are on this meta page. All results are announced by 10 September 2023 by the Process Oversight Sub-Committee.

Community Seats

There will be 3 (three) community seats available to fill up

Voting guidelines

  • Each ESEAP community can cast at most 3 votes and at most 1 vote to each nominee.
  • Votes representing Wikimedia projects must be casted by an admin of the Wikimedia project, with a link to the discussion within the project.
  • Other votes representing communities must be casted by a leading member of the community, with a link to the discussion within the community.
  • Communities that have a Wikimedia Meta presence or active Wikimedia Project Page less than 12 months must obtain an endorsement from an ESEAP Affiliate before the end of voting period to vote. Each ESEAP Affiliate can endorse at most 1 community. If the affiliate have endorsed for the nomination process, the endorsement continues to the voting stage.
  • A Community voting twice for the same candidate will nullify their entire cast of votes.
  • Affiliates cannot vote for community seats.

withdrawing as a candidate from this process thats so unfair, corrupted and deleting votes, its unlike any Wikimedian community I've ever seen. Thankyou to those that have voted honestly you dont deserve this outcome. Perhaps in the future I'll look at supporting ESEAP as a concept but this process is so wrong I want nothing more to do with it Please cast your vote (as signature) for the said candidate below
