This is a list of Earth and Terran unnamed NX class starships.

Primary universe[]

The Romulan War[]

NX-class task force

Enterprise and three sister ships.

At some point before 2156, three unidentified NX-class starships were led by Enterprise (NX-01) into battle against a Romulan fleet during the Earth-Romulan War. (ENT - The Romulan War novel: To Brave the Storm)

On the novel's cover, all of these ships bear the registry NX-01.

23rd century[]

Starbase 212

NX-class ships around Starbase 212 and the USS Theseus.

Ships of the class remained in service by the 2260s decade. In the year 2269, several NX-class ships were part of Admiral Koraxi's fleet stationed at Starbase 212 on the Federation border. (TOS - Year Five comic: "Issue 13")

Later service[]

By 2383, fifteen or sixteen NX-class starships were known to have been built. (TNG novel: Indistinguishable from Magic)

Not all of these sixteen ships have been identified by various media.

Mirror universe[]

Avenger under attack

A torn NX-class nacelle above the Avenger.

In the mirror universe, inJanuary 2155, Admiral Logan Black commanded an assault fleet in the war with the Terran Empire rebellion. His flagship was the NX-class battleship ISS Avenger. At least one other NX-class ship was part of the assault fleet. Except for the Avenger, the rebels annihilated Black's fleet around 18 January. When the aliens targeted Avenger, the admiral's ship attempted to evade fire and passed underneath Terran debris, including the port warp nacelle of another NX-class ship. (ENT episode: "In a Mirror, Darkly, Part II")

Later that month, two unnamed NX-class battleships were part of Admiral William Gardner's fleet dispatched to stop Hoshi Sato from becoming the Empress of the Terran Empire. Sato's vessel, the time-displaced 23rd century Federation Constitution-class heavy cruiser USS Defiant, easily reduced these two battleships to dust. (ENT - Mirror Universe - Glass Empires novel: Age of the Empress)
