For other uses, see Minsk.

Minsk is a city in the European Alliance on the planet Earth, the capital city of the nation of Belarus.

History and specifics[]

Sergey and Helena Rozhenko were residents of Minsk and for some amount of time raised their son Nikolai and their foster son Worf there.

When Alexander Rozhenko went to Earth to live with the Rozhenkos in 2367, it is likely that they lived in Minsk then as well.

Alexander became aware of the legends of Minsk as a child. These included witches, baba yagas and wolves that stole babies from their beds. (DS9 - The Left Hand of Destiny novel: Book One)

In 2375 when Miles O'Brien was preparing to move back to Earth, Worf insisted that O'Brien consider Minsk for his new home. (DS9 episode: "What You Leave Behind")

In 2376, Worf told Martok that one day he would take him to Minsk. (DS9 - The Left Hand of Destiny novel: Book One)

In 2379, Worf was forced to return to Earth to report the fact that Emperor Kahless was a hologram and to deliver the demands of the Klingon High Council. Before returning to Qo'noS, he traveled to Minsk to visit his foster parents. (TNG novel: A Time for War, A Time for Peace) He again visited his parents in Minsk following the USS Enterprise-E's encounter with Shinzon. (TNG short story: "Trust Yourself When All Men Doubt You")
