French Guiana was a French territory on the South American continent of the planet Earth. It was bordered by the Atlantic Ocean to the north, Brazil to the east and south, and Suriname to the west. (TOS - Khan comic: "Issue 2")

Kelvin timeline[]

In the Kelvin timeline according to Khan Noonien Singh, in September 1992 Augment Dictator Asahf Ferris annexed French Guiana into the South American Union, while France itself was annexed by John Ericssen into Pax Europa. By 1996, Augment infighting led to French Guiana becoming part of Alexander Newton's New American Empire. By the end of 1996, the Augment dictatorships were overthrown.
