Town of ancient Phrygia
Pontanena was a town of ancient Phrygia, inhabited during Roman times.[1] Its name does not occur in ancient authors, but is inferred from epigraphic and other evidence.[1]
Its site is located east of Gemiç in Asiatic Turkey.[1][2]
