Your edits to the bike racing elements break the system used by this module in several language Wiki projects for over 7 years.

Migrating from P642 : adding claims (step 1 of 2)

Step 2 is removing the no-longer-needed qualifier of (P642), which my script does immediately after adding all the main statements.

No information is being lost. The start and end date qualifiers stay on the instance of (P31) delegated commune (Q21869758) statement. If there are multiple of (P642) qualifiers, they become multiple located in the present-day administrative territorial entity (P3842) statements. In fact, with main statements, you can specify start and end dates for each parent territory, something you cannot do if multiple parent territories are given as qualifier values.

By the way, there should be consistency in the way former administrative territorial entity (Q19953632) are modeled, regardless of country. I don't think a single-country WikiProject should be treating the territories in its purview differently from those in other countries. Swpb (talk) 15:19, 17 October 2024 (UTC)

Ok, thanks, but I'm not able to log in either.

Hi Swapb,

I see your removing of Wikidata item of this property (P1629). e.g. https://www.wikidata.org/w/index.php?title=Property:P11211&diff=prev&oldid=2052075509

Issue with this is:

What is your intention in this case?
