Eureka: An Unaccountable & Impertinent Letter Writing Game
A downloadable writing game
I have not read all of Eureka: A Prose Poem and I do not believe anyone ever has, which is why no one can decide if it’s satire or not. I personally find it hilarious how Poe uses a letter in a bottle floating in an imaginary sea from a Philosophy student in the year 2848 as an excuse to explain why we’re all wrong about…literally everything. As it is the work that caused him to say “well, I wrote my masterpiece, guess I’ll just die,” I bring you a letter & poetry writing game for 2, or less ideally solo, based on Eureka. Made for the Poe Jam & the One-Page TTRPG Jam.
In lieu of payment, consider throwing a few bucks to The Internet Archive. Or don’t, I’m not your dad. But if I was, I’d tell you to drink some water, straighten your posture, and help fight the burning of a modern-day Library of Alexandria.
