Notes
Acid tests
- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Acid1
- Has added to his lists to include city recommendations
- Has a new podcast https://lifeofpablo.com/blog/first-episode-of-person-i-ve-become - and he's seeking interviewees
Anil Dash: "Wherever you get your podcasts" is radical https://www.dashes.com/2024/02/06/wherever-you-get-podcasts/
- gRegor Morrill uses this to bookmark individual episodes of podcasts that I want to check out without subscribing to the full feed. I add a to-listen tag, then I subscribe to the RSS feed of that tag in my podcatcher and voila.
An Indieweb Podcast
More history: Tantek Γelik's Box Model Hack - http://tantek.com/CSS/Examples/boxmodelhack.html the bad old days where we had to code things twice and hide some CSS from browsers with hacks in the code
Site search:
- search
- capjamesg set up a search form for DuckDuckGo. The form submits a GET request and a hidden field that sends the value `site:example.com`, so it will search only his domain.
Re: podcasts, came across this older wiki page: Indieweb Podcast Club
Library of Infinite Loan by Tantek Γelik https://tantek.com/2024/120/t1/library-of-infinite-loan
My Boyfriend Came Back from the War https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/My_Boyfriend_Came_Back_from_the_War
Exquisite Corpse https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exquisite_corpse
gRegor Morrill: Kind of related to the USB idea, I recently came across this idea of a Digital Free Library, like Little Free Library but a small server on a Raspberry Pi
Mark Martin was a creator who Joe Crawford followed in the 90s and acquired a comic from 1991 https://www.amazon.com/20-Nude-Dancers-Year-Two/dp/B0006RNX1K https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mark_Martin_(cartoonist) - his website is now defunct. He was one of the first cartoonists Joe Crawford encountered with a website and he posted comics there
- Tracy Durnell is expanding her consulting website to include case studies (and not rely on Behance)
benji showed his new h-card on his homepage that shows a flashing "Online now" status when he's online.
