Kesava Shankara Pillai (31 Juli 1902 – 26 Desember 1989), yang lebih dikenal sebagai Shankar, adalah seorang kartunis asal India. Ia dianggap merupakan bapak kartun politik di India.[1] Ia mendirikan Shankar's Weekly, Punch cabang India pada tahun 1948. Shankar's Weekly juga memproduksi kartunis-kartunis seperti Abu Abraham, Ranga dan Kutty. Ia menutup majalah tersebut pada Masa Darurat India pada 25 Juni 1975. Dari situ, ia beralih menjadi penghibur anak-anak.
Ia dianugerahi Padma Vibhushan pada 1976, penghargaan sipil tertinggi kedua yang diberikan oleh Pemerintah India.[2] Saat ini, ia banyak dikenang karena mendirikan Children's Book Trust yang didirikan pada 1957 dan Museum Boneka Mancanegara Shankar pada 1965.[3]
