I just asked myself, "WWWD?" What Would Wednesday Do?
~ Enid Sinclair

Enid Sinclair is the deuteragonist of the 2022 Netflix TV Show Wednesday. She is a werewolf student at Nevermore Academy as well as Wednesday Addams' roommate and best friend.

She is portrayed by Emma Myers who also plays CeCe Walker on Family Switch and the main protagonist as Pippa-Pip Amobi in the live adaptation based novel show, Netflix A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder.

Personality[]

Enid is an energetic, excitable and optimistic teenager. She is very caring towards her friends and is one of the few who actually bond with Wednesday. However, she hides an insecure side about her total transformation into a werewolf and is pressured by her mother. She is also very loyal to Wednesday whom she considers a true friend, which is shown when she is the first to want to reconcile with her after arguments over their differences and the events on the show. She is also the one who saves her in the woods in her werewolf form and fights the Hyde, showing her selfless side.

Physical Appearance[]

Human[]

Enid is a young teenage girl who goes to Nevermore Academy. She is 5ft 3in tall with hair that goes up to the bottom of her face. Her hair is dyed blonde and resembled from Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn. Her outfit is a dark blue and black striped uniform of Nevermore Academy with a small navy dress at the bottom.

Werewolf[]

As a werewolf, Enid has dark eyes, brown fur, and sharp fangs.

History[]

Enid first appears when Wednesday arrives at Nevermore and goes to the dorm where Enid is. But from the moment she settles in, Wednesday despises Enid for her bubbly, naive personality. This annoys Enid a little, who despite this remains friendly with Wednesday. During the series, Enid is unwittingly used by Wednesday in her investigation of the murders by an unknown monster. We also learn that Enid has a crush on Ajax, a gorgon and she manages to get closer to him during a school outing. As the two team up in Uriah's Heap store, a happy Enid asks Ajax out. However, Ajax accidentally petrifies and Enid believing he has stood her up, gets upset and smashes the tires on the school bus.

For the Rave'N, Enid goes to the Weathervane bar and chooses Lucas Walker as her date for the party. During the party, Lucas sabotages the party with his friends and Enid goes to see him, hurt thinking he liked her. Fortunately, she is consoled by Ajax and together they share their first kiss. In the next episode, all of the students' parents are invited to Nevermore for the weekend and Enid is reunited with her parents, though she is worried by remarks of his death about her mutation. While her mother wants to send her to summer camp with other werewolves, Enid refuses. In the next episode, Enid and her friends wish Wednesday a happy birthday and give her a birthday cake, although she doesn't want it. Later, Wednesday tricks Enid into sneaking out of school and visiting the Gates family mansion with Tyler. They are however attacked by the Hyde Monster and go to Tyler's house before Wednesday and Enid return to school. After the incident, Enid resents Wednesday for putting her in danger and changes dorms to go with Yoko.

Despite tensions, Enid and Wednesday reconcile and Enid returns to the dorm with her. In "A Murder of Woes", Enid who was with Ajax learns from Eugene that Wednesday is in danger. With Thing, Enid goes into the woods and undergoes her first transformation into a werewolf. Right after, she attacks and fights Tyler who turned into Hyde and was about to kill Wednesday. She manages to defeat him but is injured. She is tracked down by the rest of the school and reunites with Wednesday and the two share their first hug. At the end, Enid says goodbye to Wednesday who leaves Nevermore and assures her that she will be remembered.
