She is a member of Mystery Inc. She always gets kidnapped.
She is portrayed by Sarah Michelle Gellar, who also played Buffy Summers in the Buffyverse.

- While the original incarnation of Daphne knows karate, this version of the character instead learns kung fu as she was tired of being kidnapped by crooks all the time.
- Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr., who portrays Fred in the duology, previously worked together in the 1997 slasher film I Know What You Did Last Summer.
