Bottlenose Dolphin is a minor character in Sonic the Hedgehog comic book series by Archie Comics. He is a Mobian dolphin who is second-in-command of the Forty Fathon Freedom Fighters, resisting Robotnik's tyranny in the seas and oceans of Mobius.
Appearance[]
Bottlenose looks indistinguishable from a normal dolphin, having a plain grey body with a white belly, a bottle-shaped nose, a back fin and a tail fin. In one issue he wore a black shinobi.
Biography[]
When Tails was captured and nearly drowned by Octobot, the Forty Fathon Freedom Fighters came to his rescue after a tip-off by the P.I.A., ripping the fox out of the robot's clutches and taking him to safety.
At a later point, Bottlenose used his finja skills to defeat Eel Capone, dispose of his Hired Mussels and free the seas from his grip.
Bottlenose also took part in the Freedom Fighters' operation against the Misfit Badniks, which resulted in their destruction.
Personality[]
Bottlenose is a good friend to the other Freedom Fighters, but can be ruthless when dealing with villains, readily sending dozens of mussel gangsters falling to their deaths.
