Description[]
Franklin Clinton will call the player outlining a target that needs to be tailed to find the assets that need to be destroyed. The player will be provided a duffel bag containing Satchel Charges for later use.
Scenarios[]
The scenario can vary.
Arms Dealer Tail[]
This time, they want us to take out some small timers who tried to go pro selling some cheap fuckin' ammo. From what I hear, sounds like a mob operation to me.
We got no idea where the fuck they at, but Imani's just pinned one of they fuckin' goons that might be able to lead us to 'em. Tail they ass and find out where they at.
Franklin advises that their arms dealer clients needs a small time operator shut down.
The target to tail is at Vinewood Plaza in Downtown Vinewood. He travels in a Schafter V12 directly to the warehouse. A detection meter is shown on screen during the tail. If detected, the forces at the destination will be aggressive immediately on entry, otherwise the player retains the element of surprise.
The player must enter the warehouse and deal with the Armenian Mob forces inside and destroy five ammo crates before placing three Satchel Charges on the walls and escaping within the 30 second charge timer (care should be taken, as the crates can only be destroyed with explosives and have a moderate blast radius, enough to kill a player or destroy the vehicles inside). As soon as they exit the warehouse, the player receives a 3 or 4-star wanted level which must be evaded to complete the job.
Warehouse Locations[]

He needs us to figure out where the fuck they at, and burn they shit down. I say tail one of their helicopters, and see where the fuck they hidin'.
Franklin calls the player, telling them that he just got off the phone with the owner of the Del Perro Plaza restaurant who is a client of theirs. Their money laundering front is under threat from counterfeiters.
The player is tasked with going to LSIA to tail a SuperVolito to the high-rise hideout. A detection meter is shown on screen during the tail. If detected, the forces at the destination will be aggressive immediately on entry, otherwise, the player retains the element of surprise. The helicopter flies to the roof of a building. In case the player is unable to reach the roof, a Maverick spawns atop the Daily Globe building for them to use.
Once on the helipad, they enter the roof access door just below and find the hideout located on the building's 21st floor, filled with Armored Kurumas, Wiwang dryers, and counterfeiting equipment.
The player must kill the Kkangpae within, destroy five boxes of counterfeit bills, and plant three satchel charges on the support beams of the room. Once done, they must escape the hideout within the 30 second time limit before the charges explode, and then lose their wanted level.

You job is to follow the pap back to the lockup and plant some motherfuckin' bombs in there. Might be over the top, but... shit, we wanna make sure the camera equipment is gone, gone, you feel me?

Oversights[]
- The driving AI used for the tailed NPC uses a modified variation so it drives faster and more aggressively. This often results in pathfinding errors where NPCs will fail to avoid obstacles or take unusual detours. In some cases, the NPC might even die from reckless driving, failing the mission.
- The detection meter during the tailing part of the mission does not seem to work properly, as it will never fill up even if the player drives right next to the NPC. This however does not affect the detection mechanic itself, as the player can still get spotted by the NPC if they tail him too close for too long.
