Rizzo is an Easter Egg character in the Grand Theft Auto series who appears as an exclusive selectable protagonist in the Game Boy Color version of Grand Theft Auto. He can only be chosen if the player inputs the name "SUMNER" on Kelly's profile.
History[]
Background[]
For an overview on the GTA Protagonist's entire history and plot details, see here.
As the game follows one storyline, if Rizzo is chosen as the protagonist, he will follow the same story as the other selectable protagonists, including committing the same crimes and murders, and having the same relationships with the Vercotti Crime Family, Uncle Fu's Crime Syndicate, El Burro, Samuel Deever and Brother Marcus.
Character[]
Appearance[]
As the Game Boy Color version only has one character sprite for all selectable protagonist, there's no difference between him and the other protagonists in-game.
Like the other protagonists, Rizzo's default name can be changed by the player on the character selection menu. This feature is also used to activate cheat codes in the game.

Like all the other 15 secret protagonists available through the "SUMNER" Easter egg, his face is based on one of the game developers at Tarantula Studios who developed the Game Boy Color version of Grand Theft Auto. He is based on an unidentified Tarantula Studios game developer nicknamed "Rizzo".
