This time several members find themselves in peril as hostages of ruthless killers bent on revenge. I'm writing it in a slightly different style, with many different points of view in different locations, all in "real" time, kind of minute by minute. It's proving to be a lot of fun. It's definitely not your typical heartwarming Christmas story. I suspect some warming of hearts by the end, yes, but this is the I-Team, so there will be flying bullets and a body count, too.

I've got a spinoff series planned, one that focuses on Javier and Derek's black ops company, Cobra. The hot men who helped rescue the hostages in DEAD BY MIDNIGHT are actually already part of a series — author Kaylea Cross's Hostage Rescue Team series. They made a cameo appearance in my story. MARKED, the first book in that series, is free in ebook right now on Amazon and elsewhere if you want to check it out.

I'm also starting a new contemporary adventure series focusing on members of an alpine rescue team. Gabe Rossiter will be making some appearances, and perhaps other I-Team characters, as well. The team involves everyone from rescue dog trainers to helicopter pilots to badass climbers/skiers to paramedics. It should be a lot of fun. (less)

COVER REVEAL! Plus the kindness of friends.

Here it is—the cover for Snow and Starlight (Wildest Alaska, #2), CGIS Special Agent Chase Santee and Anya Alexyev's story. For health reasons, I’ve only written three chapters so far. But already, these two are striking sparks off one another.

What can I tell you about the story?

For starters, the book opens with Anya’s first day at her first real job. She’s just joined the staff of the Kodiak

Hi, Juhi! So glad you've enjoyed the I-Team series. That makes my day! If I were you, I'd probably start with SURRENDER and read the MacKinnon's Rangers series first. If you enjoy that, then you'll have the Kenleigh-Blakewell series to read. RIDE THE FIRE, the third book in that series, was reissued earlier this month. It can be read as a stand-alone.

If I knew more about your tastes, I might be able to be more certain, but that's my best guess.

And thanks for giving my books a try! I really appreciate it.

Isha I absolutely love your books. I've read most of your I-team series, just started reading 'Skin Deep' and I can already tell its going to be another great read.I just wanted to drop by and let you know you're a great change from authors who write trash in the name of romance and still get acknowledged because of hordes of teenage girls who cant get enough of sappy, unrealistic situations.
Keep up the great work, there can never be enough Pamela Clare books.

Pamela Julian might be my favorite, too. Hard to say, because I really do love them all, each for different reasons.

As for excerpts, I imagine I won't be posting any till spring because I'll need to get much of the book written first. But when I do post them, you'll see them on my blog, which gets reposted here on Goodreads. I always share excerpts. :-)

message 88: by Eima

Eima You're welcome!
A favorite? Oh my, I like all books equally it's hard to choose... If I were to pick, I liked Naked Edge the most. I really love how Gabe and Kat's relationship developed despite the things that are holding them back.
However if I were to pick an I-Team hero, it would most definitely be Julian.

Is that so? I can't wait! I wonder what the next novel is about. Will you be posting teaser excerpts soon?
