Sadako Maki (牧 貞子 Maki Sadako), known as Jessica in the US version, is the aunt of Sho in The Secret World of Arrietty.

Etymology[]

• The name Sadako means "upright, chastity, constancy, righteousness" (貞) (sado) and "child" (子) (ko).
• Sadako's surname Maki means "shepherd, tend cattle" (牧).
