• Donors and potential donors to the Wikimedia Foundation can use a web form or keyword to sign up to receive SMS notification messages containing information about events, organizational updates, and opportunities to donate. By providing your phone number, you consent to receive SMS notifications from the Wikimedia Foundation.
• After signing up, you will receive a text message from <shortcode> on your mobile number.
• Message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Message frequency varies.
• You can cancel the SMS service at any time. To discontinue receiving SMS messages from Wikimedia Foundation, text STOP to <shortcode>. We will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time and we will start sending SMS messages to you again.
• If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program, you can reply with the keyword HELP to <shortcode> for assistance. You can also receive help by contacting donatewikimedia.org or calling +1-415-839-6885.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

• We respect your privacy. We will never sell, trade, or rent your nonpublic personal information. Data obtained through the Wikimedia Foundation SMS program will not be shared with any third-parties for marketing purposes.
• While participating in the Wikimedia Foundation SMS program, we may collect your name, phone number, email address and certain marketing preferences. We may also collect data with respect to confirmation that a message has been delivered to you, confirmation that you have read a message, and related information. We may combine the personal information we obtain through your participation in the program with offline or other online personal information we retain about you.
