Para 7DWF: Crazy Tuesday Theme : mar...

Doce meses conmigo misma

I love beachs with a strong personality, they are great. I also love beachs that are deserted in summer, It's like having the world at your feet...

Today picture wouldn't have been possible without my faithful assistant, thank you always.

The song that accompanies the image is from Portuguese interpreter, Dulce Pontes. A wonderful singer with a magnificent voice.

The storm is over but the sea is still angry

...and the thickness of air,

the darkness that darkens there

above the waves, below the clouds

where a lone gull swims

with slow wing-strokes, a black

blur fading toward the horizon

where whitecaps nod toward shore,

a gentle susurration as last light

falls, a pale glow; waves arrange

and rearrange with each pass

and retreat and to gaze outward

at the sea settling in its bed

and vast empyrean beyond

and to think no thoughts

only to sense in the moment

how small the world

and even smaller

you in it

Last Monday I took a trip to Bude to do some abstract photography around the sea pool there with Darren.

It was a fairly cloudy evening, which worked in our favour. We spent about two hours doing long exposures around the pool and if you saw my Youtube video last week you'll have seen what we got up to.

I really like long exposure abstract photography, but I really don't do enough of it. There aren't many opportunities to do it here in Plymouth so we have to travel to places like Bude or Brixham that have great sea pools.
