15:52 Out of my comfort zone
I took this in the Waterfront Station, downtown Vancouver, where people go to catch the Seabus to North Vancouver, and the Sky Train, to various parts of Vancouver and beyond.
The things that are out of my comfort zone here are shooting strangers, shooting indoors and also street photography (which I'm calling this, as it is in a public place). Notice there is a real phone booth behind the men, which we don't see here too often anymore.
I was also trying out my new (at the time - January of this year) Sigma Art 85mm f1.4 lens.

Delightful meeting with Eloy. You can visit the peer shot here. Endearing review to a few decades of photography, with the convenient complement of beers and sardines of El Lince. Waiting for the next one!

It happened one morning in Berlin.
A crowd of about 150 women dressed alike walked in a line of two across Alexanderplatz in Berlin. They looked as if they had copied themselves. The German craft sector wanted to set an example on the fringes of Fashion Week. For more passion, innovation and individuality in fashion. Because if only trends were copied and copied again, we would all look the same. That was the message. For me, it was a very exciting and surreal sight.
I couldn't get any of them to make eye contact, no matter how much I drew attention to myself. With my 35 mm lens, I had to get very close. I was very close to them and took this photo. I could read the lips of one of these ladies as she said to her friend: "That guy is a total pain in the ass".
