I went back to Amersfoort two weeks later (www.flickr.com/photos/115540984@N02/38343245076) twice to look for the owl, and because on friday I had seen these amazing colors, but then without a sun. On Sunday the sun was shining and this is the result. Needless to say I have a few nice shots of the splendour of autumn in this park!

On part of a regular walk last year, now we have some dry weather, it's back into the forest at last.

Captured near Gusterath / Germany.
Elie Ness is the small promontory of rock to the south east of the town of Elie in the East Neuk of Fife and is home to this rather small but attractive little lighthouse. This is one of a number of Scottish lighthouses built by the famous Stevenson Clan. Although not at impressive or complex to build as the nearby Bell Rock lighthouse it is easier to get to and is located conveniently for the occasional sunset. So I’m not complaining.
To walk a delicate path,
along a transient moment in time,
realization that but a soft breath,
delivers the unfortunate fateful blow,
igniting the autumn fire within,
sealing ones fate along that ever delicate path.
