It is not a night in Bankok or in an other big city. It felt perfect and in harmony to stay at home. Feeling the warm breeze on my skin. ...and most important I wasn't alone. My friend Balu was with me. He is a guardian an very attentitive observer.

The square is the Regents plaza, where several companies have offices - Facebook lives in the tall building between the red lights. (This I did not know when I took the photo, I just liked the modern architecture in the dark and the rain.)

On the shores on the lake you'll see the beautiful Church of the Good Shepherd, where the altar window frames a perfect view of the Southern Alps beyond the lake.
The southern hemisphere's equivalent of the Northern Lights, Lake Tekapo is one of the best places in New Zealand to see this symphony of colour come to life.
