Testing my new lens

Here is a side view of the hatbox cake I made..I am so fond of this view and I hope someone in my family requests a cake like this for their birthday so I can make another version of it.

Most of my friends knew this heron, at least I see a lot of images of them. Making (nice)portraits is one of my challenges when I go out. When I post them at Flickr you can be sure it meets my wishes. Have a great weekend my dear friends!

It was a fascinating sight and the most interesting thing was the fact that what appeared to be very far, was actually quite near. Its just 75 mins drive from Islamabad. But you need a jeep to reach the centre as the soil is quite soggy and soft.
