This is sunset over Great Slave Lake from my recent visit to NWT, it was first visit in the month of June and indeed I was treated with one of kind experience.
Tallships condos at the waters edge (St. :Lawrence River) in Brockville, Ontario, home of the annual Tallships festival.

Hydrangea blooms taken at the Fitzroy Garden Conservatory last Spring.
I am not sure of the name of this variety as there are no labels next to the display.

Some pretty colours just in front of the gate. I took this while on a walk from Crawley Down, Sussex.
a beautiful southern carmine bee eater (merops rubicoides ) flying along the luangwa riverbanks.
this is the biggest and colourful african bee eater.
they fly very fast catching big insects in flight.these birds arrive from central africa end of august
and their sight is unforgettable!!
