I'm late in posting this cherry blossom image! Cherry trees on the Leelanau Peninsula lost their blossoms at the end of May; and are now heavy laded with beautiful red cherries. One cannot drive far without coming across a farm stand with cherries for sale. This is cherry country! Time to go take pictures of cherries....and to post this image.

As I sat in my garden enjoying a nice cup of tea I liked how the late afternoon light was illuminating the grass.
Thanks for all the lovely comments and favs on yesterday's busy bee :)

.. I'm forever there
I'm your dream, make you real
I'm your eyes when you must steal
I'm your pain when you can't feel
Sad but true
I'm your dream, mind astray
I'm your eyes while you're away
I'm your pain while you repay
You know it's sad but true..

the macromonday theme for 12/24 is holiday bokeh, so i photographed one of my favorite ornaments (with a slight change), using the fiber optic "lights" as bokeh. is it enough??
Looking Close On Friday: "Bokeh Only" theme
It's bokeh from a small section of lights on a Christmas tree exposed for 13 seconds in an otherwise dark room while the camera was intentionally moved.

About the yesterday shot: it is a rose overblown withs drops on the top ;)
Macro Monday
Theme: Candy
Size: Less than 3x3 inches
I used mini M&M Smarties
( approx 9mm in diameter ) and some jelly beans in the background.
A small teaspoon with some honey is placed over a chipped Smartie with a drop of honey falling into the chipped area.
You can see this is the second attempt !
Natural side lighting from 3 o'clock and a small LED torch to illuminate the underside of the teaspoon.
Many thanks for your visit, comments and faves...it is always appreciated.

Sometimes there is only bokeh and no subject. I keep these odd findings in a special folder. Today's theme for the group Looking close on Friday inspired me to share.
