The Zaanse neighborhood in the Arnhem Open Air Museum is a site on which various buildings from the Zaan region are located. The Zaanse neighborhood is located as an ensemble in the middle of the open-air museum, with the associated Zaanse square functioning as the village square of the open-air museum.
The neighborhood with the characteristic Zaans green wooden facades was converted into the open-air museum in 1938 with four houses from the Dubbel Buurt in Koog aan de Zaan that had to make way for an expansion of the De Bijenkorf starch factory. The houses were donated by the factory.

Bronbeek is a former Royal palace in Arnhem, Netherlands. It is now a museum and a home for elderly soldiers.
Bronbeek was built early in the 19th century. In 1845 the Dutch King William III bought it. He donated it to the Dutch state in 1859. William wanted it to be a home for disabled KNIL soldiers. The inhabitants took their collections of 'souvenirs' with them. This turned into a museum about the Dutch East Indies.
In 2004, 50 former soldiers had their home in Bronbeek.

The railway station has recently been finalized. Arnhem is also the only city in the Netherlands that still runs trolleybuses.
