Fire Emblem Cipher

The Skydrake Whip is present as a skill on one of Minerva's cards in Fire Emblem Cipher. It is a skill that increases Minerva's attack by 10 for each flying-type ally. It is spelled in kanji in Cipher (飛竜の鞭) rather than the hiragana of Shadow Dragon & the Blade of Light and Mystery of the Emblem.

Trivia

  • In Mystery of the Emblem Book 2, even discounting the secret shop, there are more obtainable Skydrake Whips than there are units who promote using them. If the player acquires all of them, then the last whip will have no purpose except to be sold for gold. This is the only instance in the series where promotion items outnumber the units who promote using them, shopping excluded.
