My Room is a feature in Fire Emblem Engage.

Profile[]

This location in the Somniel is the bed chamber for the Divine Dragon Alear who was placed here by Queen Lumera while they recovered from the war against the Fell Dragon Sombron. Alear remained here in a comatose state for over 1000 years where they were attended by 33 generations of stewards tasked with caring for Alear and possibly one day assist them once they awoken. Aside from their stewards and Lumera, only the royal families of the nations of Elyos could visit Alear's bed chamber while they slept. Firene in particular was particularly devout to Alear and made the most visits over the generations. Once the Somniel became the base of operations for Alear and their forces, Alear continued to use the bed chamber as their private residence, but allows any of their allies to visit them and awaken them if they desire.

Features[]

The chamber contains three points of interest:

  • Alear's Bed - The bed which Alear slept on while they recovered. In-game, Alear can rest on the bed to progress the time of day on the Somniel. Once per use between battles, Alear can be awoken by an ally when progressing time, giving special one-time Wake-Up Events. Alear must have formed a Support with said ally for them to be able to awaken them. Alear gains two new Wake-Up Events per Support Rank Alear has with that unit, maximizing at six events. Players can use the bed to review any Support Conversation, Bond Conversation, and Wake-Up Event they have already unlocked. Players can also lower the difficulty of the game, but cannot raise it.
  • Piano - A grand piano situated on the left-hand side of the room. It has no function until the player complete the Endgame chapter where the playe can view the Credits of Engage.
  • Dresser - A small dresser on the right-hand side of the room. When first viewed, it has no special features but after giving the Pact Ring to an ally, a memento of their bond from their Ring-Support ally is displayed on it with a special note regarding the significance of the item displayed there.
