Etymology[]
Barbarossa means "Red Bearded" in Italian, a nickname used to refer to Frederick I of the Holy Roman Empire, who was named "Frederick Barbarossa" by the Italians, as well as the 16th century Ottoman admiral Hayreddin Barbarossa. This is reflected by the white wyvern, whose long red tassels resemble a beard.
