Quakera (クエイラ, Kueira?, lit. Quara) is a recurring spell from the Final Fantasy series. It is a second-tier earth-elemental spell, serving as the first upgrade of the Quake spell.
The spell often appears in titles associated with Final Fantasy VII, but has appeared in several spin-off titles. In games featuring jobs, the Black Mage and Time Mage can utilize the spell. Quakera has also gone under several other names including Quake2, Quara, Quakra, and Quakara.

Quake2 is the second level spell on the Earth Materia, with a base spell power equal to 1.5x the base magic damage. It takes 6,000 AP to learn and 28 MP to cast.
It is also an enemy ability used by Bagrisk, Ultimate Weapon (on land and Mideel), and Lost Number (Magic form).

Quakera is a spell from the Petrify Materia and Poison and Petrify Materia. It costs 13 MP to cast and takes 1 ATB segment. It deals non-elemental damage to a target with a change of inflicting petrification.
Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of Light[]
Quakra is a moderate level Black Magic spell available for purchase in Guera for 1,500 gil. The spell costs 3 AP to cast and has a spell power of 13. The spell can only be used if the Quakra Tome item is in the player's inventory.
A variation called Strong Quakra can be used when two Psyched Up characters cast Quakra during the same turn.

The second level of Quake magic is called Quakara. It can be cast by using a Quake Book once Chocobo has used enough times and his Quake magic level reaches level 9. By possessing the Quake All feather, L1 or R1 can be pressed to target all enemies onscreen with Quakara. At level 17, Quakara will upgrade even further into Quaga.

Quakera, under the name of Quara, has appeared in other Square Enix titles as an ability, referencing the Final Fantasy spell.
In the Nintendo DS remake of SaGa 3 (known as Final Fantasy Legend III in the west), Quara is the second tier of Quake magic available to players. The spell deals magic earth damage to all enemies.
Quara also appears as a recurring spell in the Bravely series, often as a Time Magic spell. It is a level 2 Time Magic spell in the original Bravely Default, while it is a level 3 Time Magic spell in Bravely Second. In both games the spell deals moderate earth-elemental damage to one target and can be group-casted. Quara costs 15 MP to use in both entries.
