Equips "Mime" command
Description
Mime is a Command Materia in Final Fantasy VII equipped to provide the ability Mime that copies the last action taken in battle for no MP cost. Mime is also granted by Master Command.
Obtained[]
Mime is found in the Materia Cave in the Wutai Area. The player needs a green, black, or gold Chocobo to get access.
As Mime can only be obtained once, the only way to have multiple Mime Materia is to master it. This requires a large 100,000 AP, meaning that it is best to equip weapons and armor with Double or Triple AP.

Use[]
The Mime Materia provides the Mime command and does not come with stat changes. As its ability copies the last action performed, it can be equally used by any party member.
Mime copies the last action taken in battle. This allows the user to potentially copy powerful attacks, including Summons and Limit Breaks, multiple times. Mime works on spells that fail due to lack of MP. The user can mimic his/her own Limit Breaks. When mimicking Tifa's and Cait Sith's Limits, it repeats their last results, so the player won't need to spin the slots reels again. If used as the first move in battle, the command will fail as there was nothing to mimic. When mimicking Throw/Coin/Item use, the command does not expend the goods a second time.
Mime can be linked with Support Materia for interesting results. For example, if linked with multiple Counter Materia, the player can counterattack an enemy with multiple Limit Breaks. Mime can have unpredictable effects when linked with Support Materia, as if it mimics the wrong ability, its linked effects may be worthless. If paired with Final Attack, Mime doesn't trigger when the party member is flagged as dead. The player would need to have another Final Attack linked with Phoenix or Revive that goes first (with enough MP to use the revival ability). The Mime would then mimic the revival action unless the player has even more Final Attack Materia linked onto the same person, which is unlikely in a normal playthrough for how much time it would take to repeatedly master it. Any final attacks that work queue up, and if the party member lives, then the Final Attack+Mime takes place after.[1]
Mime does not work with Added Cut, not even when Added Cut is paired with Master Command and the player uses Mime via the Master Command.
