A young sharpshooter from another world where sorceresses pass their power down through the ages. Thanks to his incredible ability, he accompanies Squall's party as their sniper, tasked with the assassination of leader of the Galbadian army, Sorceress Edea. He displays an insufferable level of confidence, which tends to rub those around him the wrong way, but actually possesses quite the fragile psyche and only puts on a mask in an effort to withstand the great pressure of his duties as a sniper.
