Zhangeldi (Kazakh: Жангелді ауданы, Jangeldı audany) is a district of Kostanay Region in northern Kazakhstan. The administrative center of the district is the selo of Torgay.[3] Population: 14,337 (2013 estimate);[2] 15,690 (2009 Census results);[4] 20,533 (1999 Census results).[4]
Geography
[edit]Lakes Kushmurun and Sarykopa are located in the district. There are also numerous smaller salt lakes such as Zhamantuz. [5]
