Description
[edit]This proposal must not limit itself to only articles about copyrights. In fact, there are "Wikipedia:" pages that deal with this matter. Nevertheless, whether anything about Trademarks must be included or excluded in this proposal.... we'll deal with that later. Should the project name be "Copyright" or "Copyrights"? It could or could not intended to be used as a Copyright Report, but this proposal must cover ALL available copyright policies, aspects of copyrights, and anything else related to copyrights. - Copyright Cleanup is one Project. However, I think this proposal needs either experts of copyright and/or those interested on copyrights. Lately, there have been cases of copyright violations, and I somehow committed them unknowingly, but I have requested deletion on some of images that I uploaded, and one was nominated as FFD, and it got deleted. Therefore, somehow, I wonder about copyrights in general and specific, especially for BBC images. Since I'm not a professional expert about copyrights, ...I don't know what else to say. Nevertheless, I will never know which ones were right: the people who used them for editorial use or the rules that protect copyrights and reserve them to claimants and owners. And I'm not an expert about fair use either, so who else here is?

Oppose
[edit]- Oppose cleanup, policy, and content should not be mixed together into one wikiproject. Topic content wikiprojects should be separate from wikipedia departments that work on cleanup. 70.49.124.225 (talk) 03:55, 2 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Oppose, I think that mixing the two different aspects is a bad idea. Perhaps a wikiproject on intellectual property articles would be viable? the wub "?!" 23:05, 11 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Discussion
[edit]I think the problem is the mixing and matching of copyrights as they pertain to en.wiki and the aspect of IP copyrigths. We already have enough pages on WP that discuss and evaluate the nature of copyrights that I don't think a separate project is necessary. --MASEM (t) 17:26, 30 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
