  • Code letter: F
  • Supporting evidence: Great Sphinx account was created and began editing shortly after Puttyschool was blocked: puttyschool block log Great Sphinx user creation log and immediately began editing the same article as had Puttyschool, committing the exact same sorts of tendentious edits: [1] as well as attacking users in edit summaries who had previously been invovled in the conflict with Puttyschool, showing that he had prior knowledge of the situation. Requesting checkuser to determine if these two are the same person, and if there are any other sleeper accounts out there waiting to further this dispute. Also see [2] for relevent ANI thread and notice of block. --Jayron32.talk.contribs 19:13, 10 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Do you think we are in Egypt still riding camels or we don’t know about wikipedia, and we don’t care about our page, go and check from now till next year, it is my first time to join, I think your check will return 80 million Egyptians. --Great Sphinx (talk) 21:40, 10 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hmm, I'm not so sure about this, but may be MawlinWanki (talk+ · tag · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log · CA · CheckUser(log· investigate · cuwiki) is involved. But then again, it could be a sock of another guy, specifically Grawp. Even though there was only one edit—in such a manner—I'm not terribly sure about whether or not that user is related to either of them. ~ Troy (talk) 23:44, 10 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Troy 07, you will stay for a long period, checking 80 million Egyptians, you can enjoy your time with popcorn, it is my first time to join --Great Sphinx (talk) 14:49, 11 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I have no interest in your garbage about how I'm an evil editor, so there's no need to be such a smart alec. My prescense here it to contribute meaningfully, either by discussing something relevant or adding to this project. If Great Sphinx thinks that he/she can dictate how I contribute, then please think again. ~ Troy (talk) 22:55, 11 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Also, more importantly, I'm still not convinced by Great Sphinx's tone—it's too similar to PuTTy's use of the {{user|}} template (it was kind of overdone by Putty and Great Sphinx did the same ). Take a look at PuTTy's diff and Great Sphinx's diff. Carbon copy. Putty's account was blocked yesterday, Great Sphinx's account was created yesterday—almost certainly a case of block evasion which should be taken seriously. I'm sorry, but unless a checkuser looks at this carefully, then this page will serve no purpose—seeing as how this is too related and is a current issue, I'd highly suggest another careful look at this. Cheers, ~ Troy (talk) 23:08, 11 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Red X Unrelated MawlinWanki

 Inconclusive Great Sphinx, Puttyschool

Clerk note: Per Rlevse, I am relisting this for further review by Thatcher.[3]Wknight94 (talk) 23:06, 14 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • I understand why Rlevse was reluctant to call this, but I would say  Possible and further, if they are not the same person they likely know each other and are coordinating their edits. This would certainly be a reasonable time to apply the duck test. Mawlinwiki is unrelated, although he seems to be a habitual troll. Thatcher 02:11, 15 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Clerk note: Great Sphinx was blocked on 13 October. —Wknight94 (talk) 15:25, 19 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
