Contested PROD. Unnecessary fork that's covered in other subject specific articles an does not need replication here. This is a one off "2011" orphan article with no other years created. I suggest deletion. JMHamo (talk) 13:03, 5 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Keep - Wow, why haven't I noticed this article before? This is a content fork of 2011 in association football - and if there is a consensus to remove this article the content should be merged with that article. The title is a little poor though and should be changed to either 2011 in European football or 2010-11 in European football to follow the season which the continental tournaments are being played. The brackets for the continental tournaments should be removed per WP:NOTSTATS, and more explanatory text should be added, but that isn't a reason to delete. This article, even though it is only one, perfectly fits the pattern for the summary-style articles we have like 2010–11 in English football - the only difference is that this article could cover the tournaments arranged by UEFA, where the other articles covers the tournaments arranged by the national associations. Keep - per Mentoz. Agree, there should be some trimming of stats, but there is prose in the article. see no reason why summary season articles at continental association level should not exist. I actually found this article to be quite a useful introduction to the season and would suggest we need more of them. Fenix down (talk) 10:56, 11 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
