re: John Fox, Jr.
Hi. I had read one of Fox's short stories last semester in college and noticed that he didn't have an article. Along with several other writers, I took some time to look up and write short blurbs or expanded existing articles. Gives me an excuse to procrastinate. lol. Glad to see your interest, and feel free to expand it because I'm sure there's much more that can be said about Fox's life and work. Volatile 22:52, 26 January 2006 (UTC)
- No problem. I actually began reading the novel the other day and am about a quarter way through it. If anything is inaccurate, feel free to fix it. Volatile 02:32, 8 March 2006 (UTC)
Just curious...
Where do you live? I notice you edit a lot of articles from Southwest Virginia and you seem to know a lot about Bristol. I live in Bristol. Aplomado - UTC 01:34, 8 March 2006 (UTC)
- I have lived in the SWVA area before, but I don't live there now. I don't really know a lot about Bristol, but I do try to fix obvious problems in SWVA-related articles when I spot them. Bristol's own website helped me with the Bristol article. --Takeel 01:28, 9 March 2006 (UTC)

Wikipedia
Does wikipedia belong to you? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Glaze (talk • contribs) 14:09, May 15, 2006.
- What a peculiar question. I suppose that the literal answer is "no". However, all Wikipedians should strive to make Wikipedia better. In that sense, all Wikipedians have a stake in Wikipedia. --Takeel 19:14, 15 May 2006 (UTC)
Egg McMuffin
My logic would be that all types of egg sandwich are now under one convenient heading, rather than in a whole load of smaller categories. Trademarked goods don't necessarily need their own article and this helps to put the innovation behind the McMuffin in context. I think this gathering of material has worked quite well. Leaving the "Egg McMuffin" link as a redirect means that nobody can miss this information if they go looking for it, but when they do they get thier minds expanded that little bit further. Exactly what I'd want from Wikipedia.
If you disagree with me, revert the edits and I won't oppose you (it's not like I have really really strong feelings on the matter).

- Blimey, mate, no need to worry about it. like I said, just revert what I did. Can't see there being any issue with the information being replicated on both articles. There's definitely no need to involve a third party, since I will agree with whatever you decide. Unless you decide to create an article called "Vizjim is a big fat idiot", that is. Wikibreak
Yeah, I've been there too. I tried to take wikibreaks at least twice and failed both times. The only advice I can give you is to schedule your time such that you don't have time for Wikipedia. Well, good luck. I might watch your contribs and jab you if I see you online. :) --Fang Aili 說嗎? 03:55, 20 May 2006 (UTC)
- I'm glad to hear things are better for you! On another note, do you like figure skating? I just created WikiProject Figure Skating. Join if you like! :) --Fang Aili talk 15:13, 25 May 2006 (UTC)

Spirit of Truth
Do you know where the rumor that the preacher's name is Barry Capricorn came from? A Google search of "Barry Capricorn" only yields a series of videos by another guy who claims to be the "real Spirit of Truth." He also had a show on public access TV and a website where he talks a lot about Biblical prophecy. Other than that the story of his real name and that he is dead seems to be totally made up.

Thanks for you intervention Takeel. He's also been doing that kind of editing in Pamunkey as well all in an effort to seek some sort of revenge against me for a tiny image dispute. --Strothra 16:41, 10 June 2006 (UTC)
