Warning

[edit]

You don't get to refactor an RFC just because the opinions expressed are not what you like. Do it again and I shall be seeking admin action to have you blocked for disruption. → ROUX  15:46, 3 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think you understand what I did.
There was a lot of talk ABOUT the RfC that wasn't answering the questions IN the RfC. Just as talk ABOUT an article doesn't belong in the article, but in the associated talk page, talk about the RfC seemed to fit more cleanly into the talk page. It actually disrupts discussions about the questions raised.
So I moved talk about the RfC into the talk page where they can be better hashed out. Note that I did this without any regard to point of view--I even moved one of my own statements. Crcarlin (talk) 13:51, 4 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
That isn't how an RfC works though. We are commenting on it, we're just not making comments that you like. The point is that this has been endlessly hashed out many times before and no matter how many different ways you try to say it, consensus hasn't and will not change. Please see WP:FORUMSHOP. → ROUX  16:02, 4 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I see what you're saying. You don't see what I am. Crcarlin (talk) 02:19, 5 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

WikiProject Psychology

[edit]

If you are interested in psychology, you might like to read Wikipedia:WikiProject Psychology. A WikiProject is a voluntary group of editors who are interested in a subject. Its talk page (Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Psychology) is often a good place to ask questions and offer opinions.

I'm active in Wikipedia:WikiProject Medicine, and you'd also be very welcome to read and comment at what we sometimes call "the doctors' mess". WhatamIdoing (talk) 05:46, 26 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Dispute resolution survey

[edit]

Dispute Resolution – Survey Invite

Hello Crcarlin. I am currently conducting a study on the dispute resolution processes on the English Wikipedia, in the hope that the results will help improve these processes in the future. Whether you have used dispute resolution a little or a lot, now we need to know about your experience. The survey takes around five minutes, and the information you provide will not be shared with third parties other than to assist in analyzing the results of the survey. No personally identifiable information will be released.

Please click HERE to participate.
Many thanks in advance for your comments and thoughts.

You are receiving this invitation because you have had some activity in dispute resolution over the past year. For more information, please see the associated research page. Steven Zhang DR goes to Wikimania! 02:29, 6 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Dispute Resolution IRC office hours.

[edit]

Hello there. As you expressed interest in hearing updates to my research in the dispute resolution survey that was done a few months ago, I just wanted to let you know that I am hosting an IRC office hours session this coming Saturday, 28th July at 19:00 UTC (approximately 12 hours from now). This will be located in the #wikimedia-office connect IRC channel - if you have not participated in an IRC discussion before you can connect to IRC here.
