Konflux

Konflux is an Annual Mega event conceptualized by the IBS Business School, Mumbai faculty members and Student Council taking into account the multidimensional aspects of Management, Education and Mixture of entertainment with involvement of more than 10,000 participants this year accompanied by bollywood celebrities and Industry's big-wigs. As part of the Konflux and Pre-Konflux campaign, more than 1,50,000 MBA students have been engaged in participation and performance since its inception in 2002. These events have brought best talents nationwide to compete on same stage. Konflux aims at creating well developed , extrovert and responsible managers for tomorrow by igniting a Leadership attitude towards the industry. Students learn to implement the various Finance, Human Resource, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Information Technology & Supply chain principles in the real world environment.

Purpose of Konflux program is to use diversified demography and experience of students in versatile areas of interest: · To make the Konflux a practical execution platform for their classroom learning · To make YOUNG INDIA an ENTERPRISING INDIA · Post event, students will help the industry with real time inputs required in current competitive economy.

We are proud to launch the Thirteenth version of Konflux , since its inception in 2002.

Theme

Each year, the festival follows a specific theme. The theme for the year 2013 was "Udaan".

The theme for Konflux 2014 is "Spectrum", by which IBS Mumbai will try to showcase different aspects of a B-school

Mr and Ms Malhar

[edit]

Mr and Ms Malhar is the talent contest to find the ultimate festival entertainer. It looks for talent, originality and sense of humour. The winners are crowned reigning king and queen of the festival.

Bollywood Dance

In this event contestants show their dancing prowess and tap to popular Bollywood tunes.

Street Dance

Contestants showcase street styles like Hip-Hop, Krumping and B-boying. The dance performances are based on the theme of the festival.

Band Event

Bands from different colleges compete to play different kinds of genres.[1]

Social Cause

In addition to being a college festival that aims to entertain, Malhar is also a socially conscious festival. From cleanliness drives to tree plantations, using the Malhar platform and its numerical strength of over a thousand, the workforce tackles and promotes awareness about social issues.
